About the program
Listen to Lead Conversations will support your organisation to develop a disability-confident culture, enabling your senior leaders to understand how they can create an accessible, equitable and inclusive environment for your employees.
By connecting C-suite leaders and employees with disability, the Listen to Lead Conversations Program promotes change through the power of storytelling.
This program has the potential to facilitate change in leaders’ attitudes, practice and processes across the participating organisation.
Benefits of the program
Australian Disability Network will facilitate conversation sessions between five senior leaders and five people with disability within your organisation.
- Senior leaders will have the opportunity to build their disability confidence, challenge biases and learn directly from people with lived experience of disability.
- It will provide a forum for people with disability to share their experiences and challenges in a psychologically safe environment.
- Leaders will learn of the barriers that exist in the workplace and gain an understanding of the potential opportunities of being inclusive of people with disability.
After each Listen to Lead conversation session, Australian Disability Network will compile a summary report that includes recommendations to improve access and inclusion for employees with disability within your workforce. All insights provided in the report will be deidentified.

How does the program run?
1. Meet with Project Team + Project Lead
Australian Disability Network meets with the participating organisation to provide an overview of the Program, answer questions and provide templates for all program invitations.
2. Briefing with employees with disability
Australian Disability Network will facilitate a pre-briefing session which will include an outline of the outcomes of the session, support available, before, during and after, privacy and confidentiality considerations, session format and speaker tips.
3. Briefing with leaders
Australian Disability Network will facilitate a pre-briefing session which will include an outline of the outcomes of the session, support available, before, during and after, privacy and confidentiality considerations, session format, information on inclusive and respectful behaviours and disability confidence tips.
4. Listen to Lead session
Australian Disability Network will facilitate a 2-hour session which will include a welcome, participant introductions, conversations between employees and leaders, leader reflections, and a closing session.
Two Australian Disability Network team members will facilitate this session for an inclusive and accessible experience.
5. Session de-brief
Participating employees with disability are invited to an optional online debrief session to follow-up on any actions / issues raised.
6. Summary report
Australian Disability Network will develop a summary report to provide the Project Leads with key learnings and opportunities going forward.
7. OPTIONAL: Project de-brief
An optional meeting with Australian Disability Network to discuss the summary report, and program questions and guidance for next steps.

25 member hours or
- Gold $8,112.50 incl GST ($7,375 +GST)
- Silver $8,937.50 incl GST ($8,125 +GST)
- Bronze $9,625 incl GST ($8,750 +GST)
- Non-Member $10,862.50 ($9,875 +GST)
Single Program fee includes:
- Program overview meeting
- Separate Employee and Leader preparatory briefing sessions
